Helium Technology is our best-selling technology, and is an evolution of the original technology that started it all for Firewire, Future Shape Technology (FST). Helium is a 0.8 lbs EPS core with flex controlled at the rails made from Paulownia wood, running the complete length from nose to tail, combined with our 3mm proprietary aerospace composite deck skins. This is your ideal construction for generating speed in weak, everyday waves, that feels light and lively underfoot.

I-Bolic 2.0 Technology is Kelly Slater's favorite construction to ride, developed for speed, control, strength, and response. Unlike Helium which is all about generating speed, I-Bolic is for better waves and is all about controlling speed. This patented I-beam core technology with flex controlled at the rails using high density foam is an engineering feat developed for performance, that doesn't require external carbon layups or heavy laminations.

Proflex Technology is our latest, most high-performance construction made with carbon, developed with Kelly Slater. Our pinnacle of performance, this build was engineered directly to Kelly's preference in carbon performance, not too stiff and closer to 'broken-in right-out-of-the-box' when you get it.

G-Flex Technology is our grom version of Proflex Technology, built specifically for smaller surfers. Because groms are lighter weight, we eliminated the carbon fiber cloth to preserve flex in shorter lengths and create a more cost-efficient construction for parents supporting growing kids, while still offering peak performance.
